Introduction
Village Development and Save the Environment Forum (VDSEF), Nepal is an independent, nonprofit development and humanitarian organization dedicated to utilizing local resources and enhancing the capacity of local people. Our mission is to provide livelihood improvement opportunities for poor, marginalized, deprived, and destitute communities in Kalikot and other districts of the Karnali Province. It was established in 2050 with the aim to improve and create an equitable and prosperous society with human dignity and self-pride.
We prioritize children’s rights and GEDSI in our actions. Our work covers various sectors, including:

Through generous funding support from donor agencies, VDSEF Nepal aims to improve the socioeconomic and health conditions of the most deprived and disadvantaged people in the Kalikot district. We adopt a rights-based approach, emphasizing social mobilization, effective service delivery mechanisms, and the promotion of local technologies. Our goal is to address poverty issues, conserve and develop natural resources, and foster sustainable development.
